Jen reached out to me on a Monday morning through my website in a search for a Maine elopement photographer to help her out with a special request.
It was Monday… and Jen wanted to get Married on the following Sunday… just a mere six days after she contacted me. Her and her partner, Ron, had to cancel their original wedding plans due to Covid-19 and planned a trip to Maine to explore the stunning coastline. They decided to be spontaneous and get married while on their trip to Maine. It was difficult to put together an elopement in just six days but, we were totally up for the challenge!
Jen and I talked back and forth via email and text over the next few days and located the perfect time and place for them to have their elopement. Pemaquid Point Lighthouse was the perfect spot for their elopement because it captured the essence of Maine with its rugged coastline and a classic lighthouse. Once we had the perfect spot picked out, Jen told Ron the great news about getting married in Maine and then we were off!
We met at their bed and breakfast for a some photos and then adventured over to the lighthouse! There was a mild breeze and the sun had tucked behind some clouds… which was perfect because it kept their elopement nice and cool. No running makeup or sweating here!
We explored the area and then Jen & Ron picked their ceremony spot for their Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Wedding. Vows were read, rings were exchanged, an excited first kiss was shared, and a celebratory champagne pop was enjoyed. We finished the day with newlywed portraits around the lighthouse and then Jen & Ron headed off to a classic Maine dinner at a local restaurant.
